Mayor's Greek Party on Monday 10th May 2010

Hurry up to get the last remaining tickets for the Mayor’s Greek night on 10th May at Food restaurant in Worthing, West Sussex. Tickets are priced at £35, so call 01903 227780 to buy your tickets now.

Our infamous Greek band, called “Venus” are coming all the way from London. Join in and have fun with live Greek dancing from the famous “Bambos”.

There will also be a raffle, an auction, and of course the Splash FM disco til late.

Ancient Greeks believed that dancing was invented by the Gods and therefore they had associated it with their religious and worshipping ceremonies. The Greeks believed that the Gods offered the gift of dance to select humans only, who in turn taught dancing to their friends. So now’s the time for us to see if you were first in the queue when God was offering his gift of dance.

Fantastic news from The Fish Factory

Iceland fish at The Fish Factory, restaurant in Worthing and Littlehampton

The volcanic ash cloud may have gone, but we have even better news for you! We are delighted to say that we have revamped the Fish Meze at The Fish Factory restaurants in Worthing and Littlehampton, West Sussex. We have changed the way it is served and we have even got some funky new plates to serve our exciting new dish.

To whet your appetite, as part of the meze main course, there is a new Seafood Stroganoff that is served with a main course.

The new meze dish will be launched in both Fish Factory restaurants from Monday 26th April.

Proto Restaurant Group awards high achiever

Congratulations to Food Restaurant Manager, Karen Warland, who has recently passed her NVQ Level 2 in Team Leading.

We held a small award ceremony to congratulate Karen. Her certificate was awarded to her by Nicola Collins from Chichester College and Andrew Sparsis, Managing Director of Proto Restaurant Group.

We are all very proud of Karen for doing so well and working hard in order to gain the qualification. Karen has worked extremely hard and has excelled considering she could not even use a computer before she started her NVQ. We do have another six employees who are near completion also of their NVQ’s and we will keep you posted with their progress.
