Watch out Masterchef!

It seems that Masterchef is gripping the nation and that cooking has been the latest craze for sometime now…which is a good thing!

We were honoured to be asked to judge the Masterchef Final 2015 for children aged 11 and 12 at Orchards Community Middle School in Durrington on 7 July.  We sent our Executive Chef Stuart Slevin to judge the competition on behalf of The Fish Factory.

Stuart judging the dishes with the other judges…

Orchards Community Middle School has held a Masterchef competition in their school for the last few years now and has proved to be a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by the children.    As well as sending Stuart to judge the final, we also offered the winner the opportunity to experience life in a real kitchen and cook in one of our restaurants.

After judging the competition Stuart said: “I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Orchards Community Middle School to judge their Masterchef Final 2015.  All the children exceeded in the dishes they made and I was very impressed by their cooking skills bearing in mind they are only 11 and 12 years old”.
